the heater was absolutely useless, leaving me shivering at night. no one bothered to fix it, despite the freezing temps! i had high hopes for some sort of welcome gift due to my struggles but was met with disappointment. breakfast was cramped and the staff, grumpy as ever. i just couldn’t recommend this place.

this was my first stay in obidos since a few years ago, and rainha santa isabel exceeded my expectations. the location is fantastic, right in the heart of the historic area. the room was clean and comfortable, and breakfast was decent to start the day.

The view from my window overlooking Rua Direita was delightful, allowing me to appreciate the charm of Obidos.
